Hi! I’m trying to reamp through a Fractal FM9. Per their instructions, I need to connect an input within the AudioFuse Studio (presumably using AudioFuse Control Center) to SP/DIF Out. The FM9 will then take that digital input, process it, and send back via SP/DIF.
How can I connect an input (say Analog 1) to SP/DIF out within ACC? This is coax SP/DIF; the AudioFuse Studio is set to 48K sample rate and SP/DIF is set to coax in the settings menu.
Not sure I understand your issue but why mess around with SP/DIF at all? FM9 has USB audio so just connect it to your computer by USB - like in the same way your 16Rig is connected. Then you can do all the routing in your DAW in/out of the FM9.
HI @SeattleMike and welcome to The Sound Explorers Forum!
Have to admit i’m struggling a little to understand your question properly too.
The AF Studio DOES have SP/DIF onboard so you can create send/return configs up on your unit.
I’m struggling to understand what your rationale is and which unit you are using as your actual audio interface.
Could you explain your question a little more explicitly please, might also be an idea to list your OS too as, depending on what you’re actually trying to achieve, it can vary between OSs.
HTH!
