Help -TRS output cable vibrates to the touch

With the DC adapter pugged into a surge protector and no USB cable or any other cables attached, if I put a 1/4" TRS cable in the output, the free end has a noticeable amount of voltage passing through it. If I touch it with finger, the tip vibrates pretty intensely. No other synth I have behaves this way.

I am concerned about plugging this in to my system. Is it supposed to do this?
