I have had the Minifreak for a while and it’s been collecting dust. I’d like to start using it with my other gear, but trying to make patches from scratch is slow enough that I tend to just go back to my grooveboxes. Can anyone recommend some good presets that are dry (no/few effects) and can be a good jumping off point for more customization? I’d like to get dry presets so I can use the delays/reverbs in my other gear and have it sit better in the mix.

Hi! That is a good point indeed. I guess I would suggest going to the more bread&butter type presets in Minifreak and turning off spatial effects, then resaving and exporting to your machine to use your other gear’s delay and reverb.
It’s good to know that more dry base sounds are requested. We will keep that in mind for future sound design.

This is actually something i’ve been doing myself for years now since ‘workstation’ synths came out in the '90’s, it’s a nice idea so +1 from me.
