Getting computer audio out of both headphone jacks?

Using the MiniFuse 4 connected to my computer, and I’d like to get the audio from the computer to play out of both the headphone jacks on the front.

On the PC, I can choose “Main Left/Right (MiniFuse 4)” as the default and it will play out of the front left headphone output. If I choose “Aux Left/Right (MiniFuse 4)” it will instead play out of the right headphone jack. (There’s also “Loopback Left/Right (MiniFuse 4)”, where it plays out of neither.)

So is there a way to get the computer audio to play out of both headphone jacks at once? IMO this is crucial if you’re doing something like a podcast with another person and have some computer audio that both should hear.

Thank you!

Hello !

For this you need to understand how the MiniFuse 4 internal mixer works.

You can configure it in the MFCC, in the OUTPUTS tab.
Here is the right configuration for your need:

It’s not very clear, so please note that on the Windows System Sound panel, “Main Left/Right” is USB 1/2 and “Aux Left/Right” is USB 3/4.

For the OUTPUTS 1 & 2, you can bypass the mixer because there is a hardware route between OUT1/2 and USB1/2. This is done using the USB1/2 button on the left tab.
For the OUTPUTS 3 & 4, you need to use the mixer and only add USB1/2 channel in it, so you must switch off the USB3/4 button and add the channels you want to ear in the mixer.

Hope it helps !

Cheers !

This worked like a charm, thank you so much! Now I understand better how the mixer and sound routing works. :+1:
