I like the concept of having two dedicated inputs on the front, that can also accept instrument levels, I especially like using it for pedals that I can keep on my desk and tweak, and I can use the reamp out feature to go into them if needed. However, I find it really annoying that it’s stuck to 1 and 2, same with the 3.5mm input, stuck to 3/4. Does anyone wish we could switch these to something like 15/16? Especially since I use a patchbay, I am often jumping around the first 4 inputs, and have to do a lot of gain switching. I suppose I should probably just avoid using the front inputs in general, I’m not sure if it’s physically possible to “change” where these physical inputs are going.
I don’t think it’s possible to change them. Certainly not in the current firmware, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a hardware limitation.
I don’t totally understand why you want to do this. Is it just that you want to use the rear inputs 1/2 at the same time as the front inputs 1/2? Wouldn’t it be just as easy to move the things patched into rear 1/2 over to 15/16?

Yea, that’s actually what I’ve been doing. It’s convienient having the inputs available via the front of the unit for quick use of gear or desktop gear etc. same with the 3.5mm (3/4) input. I suppose it’s just that it didn’t work very well with my patchbay setup, but ngl I do see why this doesn’t make much sense after posting, and probably impossible hardware wise. I think I’ll just rethink my patchbay
