Festure Request: Astrolab 37 Multi-Instrument Editing

So far, I’ve done 2 shows with the Astrolab 37 on the ship!
It sounds fantastic and the form factor can’t be beat. I’m very happy with the power supply as well. The only is issue is that I can’t tweak my splits on the device itself and because space is limited on the cruise ship, I only brought my iPhone and iPad Pro with Astrolab Connect. I had to leave my MacBook in LA. Would it be possible to add multi editing to the Astrolab Connect app? I need to be able to change the ranges, balances and octaves on a few patches. Hopefully, that’ll be coming in an update. I’m on firmware 1.6. Thanks!

Actually, Multi “adjustments” are already there :slightly_smiling_face:
On AL37, you can’t create Multis, but for existing Multis, you can adjust the key-ranges, semitone/octave transpose, MIDI channels and response to PitchBend, ModWheel, Aftertouch, Sustain).

Since there are no Part1/Part2/Split buttons, to access the MIDI Part Settings (Shift+Split on the AL61/88), when the display is showing the preset with the instrument images, Shift+click the main encoder (or long-press the main encoder) to open the Preset menu: the available options are Like, Save…, Add to Playlist, Delete, MIDI and Info.
Select MIDI to access the Part Settings.

Currently, Multi Part levels are available on the AstroLab Connect app. They can also be controlled via MIDI CCs (CC73 for Part1 Volume, CC72 for Part2 Volume - only for Multis)

That’s great Sean!

Tried it last night!

Is it possible to change a preset in a multi from Astrolab Connect?
I have a Multi with a Rhodes on Part 1 channel 1 and Strings on Part 2 channel 2. I’d like to swap the Rhodes for a Wurli and resave it for a new song we’re doing tonight.

Thanks,

Darrell

Changing the instrument/preset inside a Multi isn’t currently possible from AstroLab Connect.
With AstroLab37, this still requires using the included Analog Lab Pro software.
