Hi there

  1. It would be nice if favorite sounds (heart-tagged) in the various synths were tied to the Software Center, so that after a reinstall of the OS one doesn’t lose one’s selections.

  2. It seems strange that the macro knobs don’t respond to the mouse wheel. The mouse wheel alone should turn a knob, and mouse wheel + Shift could be used for fine adjustment in smaller increments.

Hi @Telling. Welcome back.

FYI.
You don’t have to loose anything, if you create backups.
All the informations can be found somewhere in your Arturia ressource folder.

As far as i can tell, then all informations are located in the main Arturia Resource folder.

All Presets are located in the main Preset folder.
Color markings are listed in the files in the Presets/ Shared/ Tags folder
Favorit/ Heart marking for User presets are located inside the preset, but for Factory presets they are located in the Presets/ FactoryEdit folder.

Playlist are now located in the main Preset folder as well.
Older applications have Playlist stored in the Arturia/ Application/ User folders as far as i recall.

Samples/ Wavetables are Located in the Arturia/ Samples folder.

Some User presets for in example Sequencers, Functions and Effects are locate in many other folders. Internal_presets folders i believe.
For Pigments:
User Sequencer presets are by default located in the Samples/ Pigments/ User/ Internal Presets Sequences/ User folder.
User FX presets are located in Arturia/ Pigments/ resources/ internal_presets/ fx/ effect/ User folders. And there are other User presets for other things located in that internal_presets folder.
I assume it’s the same for other applications.

I have no idea where User MIDI configs are located by default.

It also look like only some informations are exported using the Preset/ Bank Export/ Import functionality. An explanation about this will also be good to have in a FAQ.

Perhaps there are more informations i have missed here.
Please check it all out to be sure this is correct.

That’s many informations and not easy for users to deal with, so they for example don’t get lost.

FAQ about this will be nice, and a tool to handle this will be great.

I realize one can copy the main Arturia resource folder. But not all users want to do this, as there also is many irrelevant files copied doing this. And sometimes not all have to be copied.

This is what’s possible now.
