[Feature request]

Add a way to transfer ARP patterns across synths that share the new Multi-Arp interface.
Namely SyntrX, SEM V3 and Jup-8000.

The patterns are saved in independent directories: (in Windows)
C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Synthx V\resources\internal_presets\Arpeggiator
C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Jup-8000 V\resources\internal_presets\Arpeggiator
C:\ProgramData\Arturia\SEM V3\resources\internal_presets\Arpeggiator

The pattern in xml format can be copied manually from one directory to another. And they work in all three synths.
Ir would be nice to be able to do it from one VST to another without tweaking with the system. Drag&Drop for instance.

Maybe the ARP USER folder for all compatible synths could be merged into one where patterns can be shared.

Yes, Funtmaster, maybe it would be an easier solution.
I think the Multi-Arp interface will eventually be commonplace.

It IS a rather powerful and interesting tool for sure!

I presume your’re talking about the Multi-Arp, Mat.
I think the new Advanced interface with the MultiArp, inaugurated with SyntrX, is a charm.
So easy to use, with velocity curves on all keyboard properties.
SEM V3 is not a new synth but a reborn version and it exhibits this new interface. So maybe it’s the path Arturia will be following with other “reborn” synths.

@francoise
Yes indeed! The Multi-Arp is a REALLY interesting tool.

Looking at the way Arturia introduce this type of thing, i think historically it would be REASONABLY safe to make the assumption that they most likely will introduce it throughout the range at some point in the future.
I don’t know that for sure though and only time will tell of course, but it would be a welcome addition imho.

Yes, I thought the same. Anything that streamline’s workflow creates for a better user experience which is always a good idea.

Hey francoise,

I like this idea.

I have raised a request ticket to see if we can add this in the future.

Thanks!

It is probably in their list of things to do.
