[Feature Request] Slide, Accent and Vibrato in EXT Mode

Since the built-in Acid V Sequencer is not really playable without the mouse (something which I think is reason enough to redesign the whole sequencer section. But that is being discussed in other threads already) I am using external sequencers to program the sequencer pattern, which requires the usage of EXT Mode. The most fun element for me is to play around with the Slide, Accent and Vibrato buttons while a sequence is running, but as it is at the moment those buttons are inactive when the vst is in EXT mode. On page 22 of the Acid V Manual it says:

In Ext mode, pressing any of them simply applies that attribute to any notes you’re playing.

This is simply not true. Arturia, it would be amazing if you could introduce this feature!

Hey @Chruut

Welcome to The Sound Explorers Forum!

Thanks for the suggestion, i’ve just tweaked your title a little so it’s likely to be seen by The Arturia Devs.

Welcome to the forum from me too @Chruut.

I think the manual is might be wrong or explain poorly.
Like the manual also say: “you can simply turn off the internal sequencer and record Acid V in External mode, as
you would any other virtual instrument”.

When in EXT mode, then Slide is applied when playing Legato style. Vibrato is applied using the modwheel. And Accent is applied using velocity and is related to the “Accent Velocity Threshold” parameter in the Acid V’s right panel in Settings view.

I agree one exspect the Slide, Accent and Vibrato buttons can be used at any time for any incoming notes - including recorded notes from a track playing in a DAW.
Perhaps Arturia can tell, if this should be possible? I’m not sure.

I feel like it is a bug, which they didn’t have the time to address yet or which just went under the radar.
