This would be great
having only one shift button, at the far left of the keyboard, and so many shift based shortcuts at the other end…
it would be excellent to either latch the shift button, assign it to an external footswitch or midi command or have a way to utilise another button as a “bonus shift key” in some situation (looking at the hardware, I don’t know what button… maybe holding down “step edit”?)
often I have a hand busy turning a knob or playing a synth part while I’m wanting to set up a sequence for a take…
man what if you only had one hand, you couldn’t even use the shift functions, how cruel.
