I would like to suggest adding “Release Note” as a possible trigger for samples.
You could add this in the Map area of the sample engine where you find the Round Robin or Velocity Mappings. Perhaps you can add a simple optiont where the user can nominate which samples will activate on release. A fade in value might be useful here too.
