[Feature Request] Play DAW project from the beginning using the play/stop buttons

Hi,

Everything is in the question.

I use Cubase 14 Pro and I would like to know if there is a way to play my project from the beginning just using the Keylab MK3 transport functions.

I thought that hitting “stop” twice was the solution but it doesn’t change anything.

Any idea ?

Does using the navigation arrows to shift back to the start work for you?

Yes it works but it’s a little fastidious : I have to keep pressing until I reach the beginning of the song.
There is no way to jump directly to the beginning of the song from the Keylab?
Something like pressing twice “stop” for example could be a good implementation.

Ah ok sure I can understand that. Even if your Cubase range markers are set right to the beginning of the song, it still shifts back in increments?
Just trying to distinguish if this is a DAW-specific feature or something more general.

Yes, even if the Cubase range markers are set right to the beginning of the song.

The problem is that as soon as you use the arrow keys on Keylab (back or forward), the time locator inevitably moves, that’s what it’s made for.

What I’d like is a way to put it back to the beginning (without using the arrow keys).
The equivalent of the shortcut “1” (for Cubase) on my computer keyboard.

Sure thing, this is definitely a feature request for the team to consider. Thank you for raising it!
