[Feature Request] Oscilloscope and Shepherd Tones

I was thinking today if there would be a way to make shepherd tones with the Minifreak. Does anyone have any thoughts? I know we have the harmonic type, but I can’t quite figure out how this would be done.

While thinking about that, I thought it would be great to have an oscilloscope to see what we’ve created.

Hi @Beardfist,

Please in the future post things like this as two topics to keep the community tidy. The two topics you post about has nothing to do with each other.

A shepard effect/ tone can be done in many ways and be more or less complex.
I don’t have a Hardware Minifreak, but i post a Minifreak V preset, that can show you how a Shepard effect can be created using only one Minifreak V. In this case the OSC Volumes and Pitch are modulated by a modulator - in this case by LFO1 set to LFO Shaper. You can see how in the modulation Matrix.
This preset show one of the principles in how the effect can be created.

MiniFreak afaik does’nt have a oscilator option with a buildt in shepard parameter so to speak.
