I use the Analog Lab Playlist extensively in live performances to mimic the performance order of songs in our setlist/song manager (BandHelper). We number the songs in BandHelper to make them easy to find (especially when we make an ad-hoc decision to perform them out of order), and it would be a lot easier to manage this in Analog Lab Playlists if there were a checkbox selection that would auto-number the Songs in the Playlist (and carry that numbering over to the Stage view).
This would be in addition to the numbering of Patches under each Song that already exists.
As a workaround, I currently use one Song for each gig and create a patch for each song so the patch autonumbering gives me the numerical order. That gets messy when I need multiple patches for a particular song.
An alternate approach would be have a “Sort By Song” function. Then one could prefix the song title with whatever info you want to use to order the Songs.
(PS, make the Song field longer by maybe 10-15 characters).
