I read that we technically have two grains, maximum 3. May we have a bit more in this regard and/or a longer grain length? Granular is rapidly growing beyond the typical max-msp/puredata boundaries. There’s some really neat granular variations out there!

More grains would be the typical way to go - you’ll get your clouds of grain and some really spectacular microsound (if spacing/length are adjusted).

Six grains (we could do this with 3), creates some really versatile ambient textures that aren’t the typical ‘cloud’ type.
