Additional modulation destinations “Macro M1” and “Macro M2” (on the preset button where “Unison Spread” can be found) would not only make it possible to automate the changes on the macros, but would also conjure up additional slots for modulations out of thin air if the macros are unused in a patch anyway, since you could put other modulation destinations on the macros than those in the matrix.

I just realized that both Macros are already assignable as modulation destination. Either I wasn’t paying attention when writing the request, or I didn’t press the assign button hard enough, LOL.
Problem resolved.
