Simple feature request for any future Minibrute 3 you guys may be plotting on releasing in the future.
First, keep the Minibrute 2 as it is. Its very nicely-spec’d for the modular community. That said, I’m not a member of the modular community (all the patch cables everywhere aggravate my massive obsessive-compulsive traits, and I like patch memory and many of the other modern conveniences).
So, for Minibrute 3…
Start with a Minibrute 2…
Add a full-size audio input on the back…
Add patch memory…
Make the modulation matrix digital rather than wired up…
…and integrate the Minibrute V plugin with it, so that Minibrute V owners can use the plugin to control the hardware just like owners of Minifreak V can do with their plugin and synth. That said, since I support ruthless capitalism, don’t bundle the plugin with the synth… use the “the plugin controls the synth” as a sales angle to increase sales of Minibrute V and to create more value for those customers who have already invested in the Arturia ecosystem.
Also, no need to rush on this. I don’t think anyone wants the synth industry to have replacement/upgrade cycles any shorter than six or seven years.
Thanks for your time.
