[Feature Request] MIDI split mode

I am requesting a true “MIDI split mode” where the lower part of the split will act in a “local off” MIDI mode, to control an external instrument, while the upper half of the split will continue to work in single or layered mode.

This request is somewhat related to the query linked below, but the solution given in that post looses the ability to morph between A and B settings.

Can the Polybrute act as a MIDI controller on one half of a split?

Hi All, I’ll be pulling the trigger on a Polybrute soon but just wondered if it’s possible to use one half of a split for MIDI control of soft synths and the other half remain Polybrute settings. If not, maybe I’ll make a feature request. Thoughts?
