[Feature Request] - Macro “Printing”

Kind of an odd request, but I’ll do my best to explain.

It would be really cool if Pigments had the ability to “print” the modulation values for the current position of a macro knob.

When working with presets or doing my own sound design, I often find myself tweaking a particular macro knob to a “sweet spot” and leaving it there. If there were a way to “lock” those values it could free up a macro knob for something I DO want to automate.

I’d also love to see more built in macro spots (maybe 8?) but being able to “print” macros would be super helpful to me.

I like the idea. It’s sounds like a “commit macros” button would be needed. It could commit the macros settings to the present patch and reset the macros to be used again. It could lead to some interesting regenerative patch making.
