So I had to reinstall and check my activation limits. I only have one computer but somehow it was activated 4 times on WIN10_STUDIO. I only have one studio machine but it’s unclear what triggered all these multiple activations.
Some requests:
For the love of music: give percentage indications on download and install progress within ASC. It’s completely unnecessary to keep users in the dark - especially on the long haul reinstalls of say V Collection.
I have to open Windows task manager, go to performance and then the network tab to see if there’s any data transfer happening.
(For instance: Augmented Strings and Voices are going for ages. I guess they’re big libraries? Who knows! ASC doesn’t tell me. All I see is “Installing” for over ten minutes. Did it stall? Is it progressing? Who knows.
The activations are only viewable from the web, under Account > Products. The activations have no date stamp, no computer id or even an indication that the computer I’m currently using is linked to a particular activation.
Only course of action is to unactivate them all, go back to ASC and reactivate. Why can’t I check this from ASC itself?
These things must surely be easy to implement? I love the Arturia plugins and hardware but ASC could be a lot better with only minor tweaks.
Rant over!
