This is a request for a legato feature so that notes can be tied without retriggering the gate for each note. This is apparently a feature on the non-pro Keystep but not featured on the Pro model and is crucial for many styles of electronic music, having been present on the Roland sequencers of the 1980s that heavily influenced modern electronic music (sh101, mc202, tb303 etc)

You can actually do legato in poly mode (even using a mono synth) by holding starting note and pressing next one, it will produce a slide on a 303 for example, speed depending of your synth glide/slide/legato setting

This is only when using the MIDI output as far as I can tell. I should have been more specific - I want to use the CV/Gate outputs. When using CV/Gate, the gate output is retriggered with each note. I’m using a MIDI to CV converter as a workaround but this seems unnecessarily complicated.
