Since analog lab has gone “Pro”, I’m hoping for future ability to use FX Collection within it. We have all these wonderful sounds and FX, and still need a DAW to combine them. It would be more interesting to expand sound design with access to all available tools within one software…Analog Lab Pro.
HI @jblongz
Thanks for the idea! We’ll leave this marked as a feature request so our team spot it.
I second this request completely. I made a similar request a long while back, to have a ‘shell’ for FX Collection, similar to the IKM Suite. So we can create multi-effect chains and manage these presets and user chains. In other words an Analog Lab V but for the FX Collection.
But I would be super happy if this was also integrated into Analog Lab itself. Nice.
Yes this please, I use Analog Lab for sound ideas , would be great to use the fx chain. same goes for pigments.
HI @Miria_Bläck and welcome to The Sound Explores Forum.
Hope to see more of you in the future!

Quite logical, Miria!
More so for people who use Analog Lab as standalone.
I wonder why it has not already been done. Maybe a programming snag I can’t see.
We definitely need Arturia to start offering us better Fx options in Analog Lab Pro in a hopefully soon update. Make Analog Lab Pro the synth we ALL really want and know it’s capable of being. We need better routing of the send fx as well. And at least a 4 part Multi instrument option.
Also I’d love a more modern sampler vs just the emulation samplers. Thanks
All the instruments in Analog Pro/V Collection have built in FX. I always found the additional ones in AL Pro to be superfluous and can live without them.
Right, I too am clearly aware of their built in FX, but the difference is, the Arturia FX Collection are at a much higher level, and this is a natural course of action to eventually use their best work in Analog Lab Pro in terms of finalizing sounds.
Analog Lab could also benefit from a more modern sampler as well. Their new exciter plugin maybe one of my favorite plugins ever made, what it can bring out in terms of harmonic frequencies is special. I’d love to use this in Analog Lab Pro.
I am no expert, but from a business perspective, I don’t think it makes financial sense to include another s/w line in ALPro. I also think it would increase system requirements to the detriment of ALPro. If implemented, it’s only a short step from there to creating a DAW which may be ok if that’s the direction Arturia decides to take.
I’m no financial expert either, but looking at what their competition is doing. For example ( IK Multimedia Sampletank , Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol, UVI Falcon, Steinberg Halion, Akai Pro Mpc ) all of which are including their best Effects in their plugins to name a few.
This is exactly what their doing, so maybe we’re both not financial experts, but their competition, definitely see’s this as a way of getting more sales.
Make sense to you yet ?
It’s an obvious move for Arturia, all I’m saying is, I’d like to see it happen sooner than later. Hope that is okay with you.
If it happens, it happens. I don’t think Arturia will be seeking my ok. Personally, I like ALPro the way it is.
To be honest, I was totally supposed not to see these integrated into Lab a bit more.
I understand you guys still want people to buy your effects as well. So perhaps we can meet halfway where owning an effect(s) would “unlock” its use within Lab?!?!
