I would love to see a simple on/off function for the metronome to be used for real time recording from the get-go, please?

I agree that having a simple on/off function for the metronome would be a useful addition for real-time recording. This would allow you to quickly and easily toggle the metronome on or off without having to go through any menus or settings. This would be especially helpful if you are recording multiple takes of a song or if you want to be able to switch between recording with and without the metronome on the fly.
I hope that the developers will consider adding this feature in a future update.
You can already toggle the metronome on/off by holding down the shift button while clicking (pressing down) the Tempo/Swing control.
