[Feature Request] File sharing between community users

Hello Forum Admin (whoever you are),

Could you implement a new area for community users called (something like) “File Exchange” for stuff like MCC User Bank exports, Analog Lab MIDI mappings for 3rd party controllers, special MIDI mappings for Software Instruments, etc.? I think that some kind of naming convention would be needed also once this is created.

As far as sharing sound presets (e.g. for specific song covers), it’s be a great idea to implement something that mimics Yamaha’s SoundMondo (without getting too carried away). Just a well-structured/named area would be nice.

There is already a “Your Sound” sub forum. Thats where I post patches and others have posted songs etc.

Thanks for your answer and for posting your patches! Your contribs are really appreciated. I’ve come across many of them…

For sounds/presets, I’m thinking there might be a need for subcategories like “Song Covers” with a naming convention like “Song Name - Artist” or just a better way to name each post.

For example, your recent post with “Black Friday” is catchy but after this month, without more details (like a textual list of the presets that one could find via Search), it might not be as catchy. I guess I’m trying to find a way to make things feel a little less all over the place (for the Sounds part of my request)?
