[Feature Request] Edit 'type' of an effect which is not currently turned on

It would be brilliant if one would be able to change the effect type of an effect when the effect is not turned on.

When I now select a delay, I first have to enable it, before I can switch the type to “sync”. It would be great If I could select delay and select the type of delay before I turn the effect on.

Absolutely true!

Strangely enough, the amount can be changed even when the effect is switched off (and can therefore be changed unintentionally!). The code seems really strange, even if I haven’t seen a single line of it yet.

As I have already said elsewhere: Software behavior belongs in the configuration!

Specifically related to the case:
2 or more strategy design patterns (for one there are no changes when the effect is deactivated, for the other only desired changes, like the one described above), which influence the behavior of the encoders and which can be set in the configuration (menu).
