Hello Arturia Team,
I would like to request the addition of “Arturia Mode” for the AstroLab, similar to how it functions on the MiniLab and KeyLab series. Specifically, I want the AstroLab to dynamically follow and browse presets for whichever Arturia plugin instance is currently selected/focused in Ableton Live.
The Current Limitation: While the “Link to AstroLab” feature exists in Analog Lab/V Collection, it hard-links the hardware to one specific plugin instance. If I switch tracks or open a different Arturia plugin in Ableton, the AstroLab remains locked to the original instance.
Proposed Solution: An optional setting or mode on the AstroLab that allows it to act strictly as a dedicated software controller (“Arturia Mode”). In this mode, it would automatically shift focus to the active plugin instance in the DAW, without needing to update or load the engine on the AstroLab itself.
