[Feature Request] Arpeggiator - patterns

It would be really nice to have some different variations on the patterns of Arpeggiator. Down, Updown would be welcome. Also the Walk and Poly from the MiniFreak would be nice to have them also to the MikroFreak. Please Arturia consider this :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I can see this being really useful too.

necrobump, just got my microfreak and it is overwhelmingly feature-rich, however i’m rather surprised that the ā€œbasicā€ arp only goes up, esp. with all of the version updates that have been released. would really like to be able to swap the up direction for other common arp motions, like my oooooold microkorg has. maybe could shift-press the ā€œupā€ button/pad and it would cycle through the basic direction modes (and indicate the selected direction on the screen). would love to have available :

• Up
• Down
• ā€œPingPongā€ (actually 2 variants of this up-and-down-and-back looping motion – ā€œAlt-1ā€ on the microkorg, with ā€œAlt-2ā€ doing the same but playing the high and low note extremes twice before reversing direction).
• ā€œAll Heldā€ (ā€œTriggerā€ on microkorg) – all held keys/notes repeat with the arp. rate/etc. settings in unison (no doubt would require paraphonic enabled in the MF).

Yes i know that Down can be achieved w/ the MF’s ā€œorderā€ arp mode, but it’d be swell to have this available as a basic direction/mode (and not have to be concerned w/ deliberately pressing the keypads in downward order). order mode also doesn’t provide a solution for PingPong arp motion…

I’ve seen some other requests here about adding things like rests to the arp, would be cool to see that too, but i feel like these additional, common arp directions would be especially useful for most folks.

hmm, well i now see that the minifreak DOES have all of these additional arp modes. so… i guess that’s the unspoken answer from arturia then – have to buy the minifreak to have these other arp patterns!

not unreasonable to have perks/carrots on the mini to entice ā€œupgradingā€ to the mini from the micro. arturia have absolutely been superbly generous w/ the micro updates already, but the presence of these additional arp modes within this device DNA also underlines that these could be (probably easily) added to the microfreak via firmware. c’mon arturia… ONE…MORE…MICRO UPDATE!
