When the sequencer is running in split mode, a sequence can play in the lower part of the keyboard while playing a separate, regular, or morphed sound in the upper part. I would like the possibility to switch that behavior so that the sequence plays in the upper part while I can play base lines in the lower part. I am currently using a work-around by transposing the right part of the keyboard down with a few octaves and the left part up, but it feels very unnatural to play like that.
Hi @AllanJozy and welcome to The Sound Explorers Forum!
Many thanks for the suggestion, that’s a beautiful synth you have there too! ![]()

Hi,
Just in case, here is a workaround if you use your Polybrute with a DAW :
- In your DAW, set In & Out Midi channels to any on the midi track to which you assign your PB then select it.
- On your PB, go to Settings > 7.MIDI and
- Set Local Control to Off
- Set Input Channel to 2 and Input Channel Lower to 1
Now you should have SEQ/ARP on the right side when splitting the keyboard.
I know it sounds weird and may look unfriendly.
I use Cubase and it works perfectly though.
