It would be amazing if the Minifreak could become a more capable MIDI controller, starting with the ability to customise how its MIDI messages are sent and the ability to control its various settings via ASC. One obvious upgrade for me would be the ability to use the sequencer transport buttons as DAW transport. The play/stop and rec buttons could serve that function when not in Arp or Seq mode.
Wondering if other people have seen the Minifreak serving as a desktop controller? Seems like the obvious choice for synth lovers who work with VSTs a lot.
