I know this is similar to another feature request I have commented on, but!
Being able to jump presets by 10 using something common in many other synths such as Shift + Preset Encoder would make preset navigation so much easier and more efficient.
Scrolling one-by-one through potentially hundreds of presets is very frustrating to the point of really hampering the creative process.
Even better would be a “bank viewer” such as in the TE OP-1, though I realize that is a much bigger ask.
A couple of smaller asks:
Ability to scroll through from last preset to first. This is pretty self explanatory as to increasing efficiency
A method for numerical preset entry, perhaps using the encoder for choosing numbers and clicking the encoder to select them. Another idea for data entry could be to use the keys in sequential order to enter digits.
The preset scrolling and inability to continue through the last preset to the first are my only complaints with this otherwise amazing device, and I know these are issues for many other users as well.
I agree 100%. I just got my brand-new MF, and this kills the whole experience! If I had known this before… I have to go through all the presets to use the microphone with the vocoder!
Users are sharing their presets for the MCC so they are grouped so this tames a bit the issue…
I’m glad other users such as yourselves are chiming in on this. Arturia seem to be pretty good about supporting their hardware and issuing firmware updates, so fingers crossed they see the engagement here.
I’m not sure the voting function on forum topics has any affect on visibility, but I have gone through and voted on other feature requests on this forum that I agree with; perhaps if you two do so on this post it will help?
