I know this has been talked about a lot, but Arturia, you really need to allow for more sends in the AFCC Mixer. I wanted to buy the X8 Out immediately upon release, but realized I’d be severely limited in the mixer side of the AFCC, if I had 12 outputs connected but no way to use them at once. It’s a massive limitation, 4 mono outs is simply not enough for this mixer.
Does anyone think this could happen? It would take a major update of the entire AFCC, because almost every section would need to be updated. In my opinion, it needs to be done. I love the 16Rig, but I hardly use the AFCC anymore because it’s so limited. If it had some limited DSP effects, I’d overlook the limitations and I’d probably use it more than mixing in the DAW. But as is, it’s totally underwhelming. In fact, it’s had me thinking about upgrading to an RME and using TotalMix, as I’d have a lot more options for direct monitoring.
Again, it’s been said on here before, but I felt we need to push this forward.
