For many songs I play a piano or Rhodes or Wurli on part 1 (with no expression pedal assignment) and use Part 2 to fade in and out a preset like an organ or synth pad via the expression pedal. Oddly, as I increase the volume of Part 2, the volume of Part 1 diminishes. This is not what I want to happen, any ideas what’s going on? Thanks.
You can assign the Expression pedal (or ModWheel or Aftertouch) to a specific parameter in the Edit Preset page of Analog Lab.
In your case, assign Expression to Part 2 Volume as shown below (the virtual knob controls the maximum range).
Don’t forget to save the edited Multi preset in AstroLab. (and if Analog Lab if needed)
Hi, yes, I know this (due to previous instruction by you). I still have Part 1 (an electric piano) with no expression pedal assigned fading as I use expression pedal on Part 2. Pic of my screen:
I tried to attach an mp3 of it but couldn’t.
Also, if I start with an acoustic piano on Part 1 and add an organ on Part 2 it works normally.
