Essentials Mk3 and Boss Fs7

Hi everyone,

I’m having problems setting up the boss fs7 as my sustain pedal. In midi control center, it only has one slot for me to change the Midi order assiged to it. And the pedal has 2 for me to press on.

Is there a way to make the keyessential recieve signal for both bottoms?

Hi @alenave ,

On the web it look like your pedal can be set to a unlatch/ Sustain functionality for a switch. Does’nt it work, if you set it to that, and then use the SUSTAIN mode on your controller.
I assume the switch you choose will work like a Sustain pedal, but you have to test.

Why use both switches? Unless they send as one switch, then it’s not possible to use both.

If your controller is in FootSwitch mode, then normally a switch will switch between on and off for each activation.
