I’ve tested this, with the latest everything and properly configured everything, in Pro Tools, Cubase, Ableton, and Bitwig on the latest Windows 11 and latest MacOS. I’ve tried different USB C cables different ports I’ve tried everything possible just to know I’m right.
I am, and if you try to use multiple Arturia synths in one DAW session when you switch it’ll stay partially stuck on the previous one. This doesn’t just lock up your keyboards screen, it means your knobs and faders will not act according to the “Hook” setting, meaning you get all kinds of values jumping all over if you nudge a knob.
Honestly my Minilab3 was a great fun lil thing and the software synths are epic but this Essentials MK3 has been a massive letdown. I’m still well within my return window and I think I will wind up swapping it in for the obvious alternative 61 key competitor. Which is a shame because I like the physical keyboard and I like the software synths Arturia makes but it is just so obnoxious to work with.
