Encoder pickup possible? USER SLOT Midi CC

Specifically User Slots controlling 3rd party Softsynths via Midi CC. KL61 MK3

Hey,

Faders are visually obvious on there position and I understand why they would not pickup a plugin parameter position perfectly until establishing min/max values.

However, is there a setting whereby the infinite encoders would pickup from the current pluging position on a USER slot?
Example - UAD Softsynth works as expected but Amplitube Pedal fx Tone set at 20% but as soon as i move encoder the parameter Jump and starts at 0%.

Am I missing something simple or do some plugins have issues?

Hi @MiR, Welcome back.

A Keylab mk3 encoder can be set to 5 different modes including 3 relative modes. You shall use a relative mode.
The rest is about the application you wish to use. The parameter to control in an application probably also must be set to relative mode. In any case the relative modes shall match.
Do UAD applications have Relative modes?

Applications can have Pickup features for faders.
Some applications perhaps also can have Pickup features for Knobs that work in Absolute modes.

Seems like Amplitube4 only works in “Absaloute” mode but does still jumps to initial value.
MK3’s relative modes scatter the parameters and are unusable.

Maybe its not possible in my case.
