Hi
I am moving countries soon and would like to take my Minilab with me.
Whilst I will not have room in my hand baggage for it, I do have the space in a large suitcase.
So the question is: does a Minilab 3 contain a battery or can it travel in hold baggage on an aircraft?
Logic suggests to me that it does not contain a battery, given that it only lights up when connected, but I would appreciate getting confirmation or otherwise on that.
Thanks
Hi @Cacophony and welcome to The Sound Explorers Forum!
I’m 99.99999999999999999999999% sure it doesn’t contain a battery, however, i don’t work for Arturia, so for your own peace of mind, it might be worth logging into your Arturia account to as The Arturia Support Team directly.
I think airport scanners are likely to pick up any batteries too, but that’s a bit late really…
HTH!

Hi @Cacophony, no the MiniLab 3 does not contain a battery. It’s powered solely via USB bus power (typically 5 V from your computer, USB power bank, or USB wall adapter) and has no internal rechargeable or removable battery.
