Does it save the midi data from the looper when i turn off AstroLab?

I was thinking if the looper saves the midi data. In the manual says that is possible to save 127 midi files but Chatgpt says it deletes the files when astrolab turns off.

Once you finished recording, AstroLab displays “EDIT” at the bottom of the screen.

  • Click the screen to access the Looper menu.
If you exit the “New Recording” looper display before clicking the EDIT screen, you can also access the Looper menu with a long-press (2-3 seconds) on the PLAY or REC button.
  • The File option in the Looper menu should show “New recording…”. Select that option to access the File menu.
  • in the File menu, the first option is “Save Recording”. Select that option to name and save your recording,
The other options in the File menu are the available Recordings that you can load and play back (or delete).

But when i turn off astrolab can i load the midi record again? I don’t have astrolab to test it.

Yes, that’s the purpose.

  • Access the Looper menu with a long-press (2-3 seconds) on the PLAY or REC button.
  • The File option in the Looper menu will show the list of available Recordings that you can reload and play back (or delete). Select a recording and press PLAY!
