Hello,
I’ve got a keylab 49 essential and was hoping to use it with Ableton 12.
In the DAW mode the integration with the keyboard screen works okay but I don’t like all the mapping. I made a custom setup in the Midi Control Center with the mapping I want but then when I use the User modes I don’t get the same integration - for example no track names on the screen.
I just wanted to know if there’s something I’ve missed as this seems like quite a big flaw otherwise.
Thanks
I have the same issue. In Cubase you can change the mapping within the software. In Ableton 12 you can’t. I’m hoping they update it, so the display updates even if you are in a user preset.
Hey, just a quick update to tell you that I found a workaround. In the Midi setting, you can set up the Midi port of the Arturia to also be a “Controller” with the checkboxes at the bottom. If you do so, you can then use the midi-learn of Ableton to overwrite the default behavior. Now it will work, at least for what I am doing. Hope this helps!
