Custom midi mapping not working in Ableton

Please can someone who has minilab 3 in Ableton try this?

I need to do a custom mapping and it doesn’t work.

I press the MIDI button in Ableton, check an Ableton function and the box appears around it. But now I press a key on the Minilab, and it doesn’t map, no key maps. For example, mapping to keyboard keys works, but I can’t get it to map to minilab 3.

I don’t use Ableton Live.

May i suggest you start here.

I think your issue might be you try to map MiniLab Keys and not computer keys, if i understand correct.
