I have a Macbook Pro M3Pro 12 core CPU, 18GB of RAM and since yesterday Analog Lab started taking a crazy amount of time to load up even tho i did not change anything to my computer. Any ideas? I only have security updates on so i don’t think that a OS update changed something. Thanks.
Wich MacOS?
Hi @rickkromero. Welcome to the community.
I can unfortunately confirm slow loading time for Analog Lab after the latest update.
I’m on Windows.
I suggest you contact Arturia support through your account.
I have the exact same issue. Analog Lab V is loading crazy slow on my Mac. I have not updated any software. Yesterday I did work with Analog Lab V without any issues. And suddenly and without any warnings, Analog Lab V stand alone app takes ages to load. The plugin also loads very slow in Logic Pro 11.1. It is just not workable and breaks the creative process.
When I open the Activity Monitor, when opening the Analog Lab V app, I the red text “(not responding)” for this app. Force quitting and opening that app does not help. Rebooting my Mac also does not help.
Any suggestions to fix this?
I am on a 8Gb Mac Mini M2, Sonoma 14.7.2 with updated AL Pro and Logic Pro. My Arturia resources are on an external SSD.
Standalone loads in about 25s and in Logic about 6s. That seems normal for me.
I’m on Sonoma 14.7.1
Okay we are on the same boat. To me also the Arturia Software Center started opening way slower than before.
Thanks for your response. I already tried to get in contact with them but i got an email back saying there was too much traffic and the couldn’t respond.
It used to load up in a few seconds to me and now at least 15+ seconds.
Little update. I put my Macbook to sleep yesterday night (so not even a restart) and this morning it works flawlessly, both the ASC and Analog Lab load up in about 2 seconds. I would like to know what was the problem that caused it tho lol.
Thats good. Perhaps…and only a perhaps, the mac was doing a virus/malware scan in the background.? I get slow downs after the virus update while it does its thing. If it happens again, keep an eye on Activity Monitor and see what’s eating up CPU/RAM.
i don’t think it was a cpu problem as only around 20% of my cpu was used. The process just did not respond. if i have anything new i will keep you posted
Yesterday I could observe that the ASC agent tried to reach the Arturia server in the background but could not get through. Since this morning it is running again without errors.
I agree part of the load time perhaps can be affected by the internet connection.
It would be good, if the application loaded before the need for calling home, if that’s what’s going on.
Yesterday my load time for Analog Lab was 50+ seconds. Way longer than ever before. The strange thing is, i could load other applications fast.
