Control Sequencer in Minifreak V with hardware Minifreak

Is there a way to properly control the software sequencer running in Minifreak V from the hardware Minifreak?
I want to achieve, that what i record on the hardware Minifreak is reflected on the Minifreak V. When i try to do this, there is always a mess and more and more notes are recorded. The other problem is, that i have to start the sequencer on Minifreak V from the plugin itself. When i press play on the hardware MInifreak, nothing happens in the plugin. Maybe this is intended behaviour, or maybe i am doing something wrong.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Been that way since the beginning, sequencer sync between software and linked hardware do all kinds of strange things (and they also behave differently when listening to the hardware vs software output)… Have no real hopes of it ever getting fixed.

Or, actually, it might be that it works mostly OK to program the sequencer on the V from the linked MiniFreak, as long as you don’t expect the hardware to actually play what the plugin plays…
