I recently passed on my old studio machine to a relative as a gaming machine, they’re telling me that they want to get back into playing keys again for their own pleasure.
The onboard sound is hopeless of course, so just wondering if anyone knows of a cheap PCIe sound card, -10dB output on 3.5mm stereo output etc.
Something along the lines of the old soundblasters that many users got started with back in the day.
He’ll be only using it for standalone versions and not DAW usage, initially at least.
All suggestions gratefully received!
