The composer of the piece, Johann Pachelbel (1653-1706), was a popular South German composer, organist, and teacher. I heard this in the early 1970s and always wanted to put my cultural spin on it.

A work in progress, my simple variation reduces the 3 original violin and bass parts down to 2 MIDI Guitar parts using a modified Augmented YANGTZE preset and wavetable steel guitar sound I created, a Drum Machine and some Hand Percussion run through Arturia Mix Drum.

I spent countless hours learning the rock guitar version when I was a child.
Ever since, I’ve remained a huge fan of this piece.
