When I open Pigments, I usually cannot see the Types, Banks and Styles filters. Clicking their buttons has no effect. This is in standalone Pigments, I don’t know about a plugin.
Sometimes the filters eventually appear. But I don’t know what procedure might show them. One way I know to ensure the filters are available on starting Pigments is to to first restore the database file db.db3 from a backup. But I should not have to do that.
I suggest you delete the db.db3 file. Then open Pigments again. That will create a new up to date db.db3 file.
I hope that’ll fix your issue. If not then you can try cleanning Pigments Preferences through Arturia Software Center, and if that also don’t work, then try to reinstall Pigments. Perhaps you need to rebuild the db.db3 file again then.
Thanks for the suggestions, @LBH. My db.db3 file contains 380 liked presets and several favourite groups. There seems to be no way to export and import favourites. It seems I’d have to take screenshots of the lists of favourites and add them back in manually after deleting db.db3. It’s doable though.
Today Pigments loaded with the filters visible, so I’ll wait for the problem to recur before trying anything.
I run Pigments on two Windows computers. To have the same favourites available on both computers, I make a backup copy of db.db3 on one computer and then copy the backup to db.db3 on the other computer. I wonder if that is somehow what has caused the problem, though I don’t see why it should.
The db.db3 file do not contain the source for your markings.
I will not rule out, that it can give issues to copy the db.db3 file between computers. That depend.
If you are worried, then move the current db.db3 files to another location as a backup and then open Pigments to rebuild a new.
