Can the cycling envelope be applied to create reverb or echo?

I am seeing a few presets that have a definite echo or reverb effect and I am wondering if it is possible to apply the cycling envelope to create a reverb or echo effect? I have tried tinkering with the preset to see if I can figure out where the echo is coming from, but get no results.

What are some of the factory preset names you are looking at?

I may be wrong (it happens :grinning:) but I think a long decay/sustain can give a reverb like effect. Maybe with tinkering with the LFO on the matrix.
I tried with the very short Organic 5ths preset lengthening the sustain and added a LFO cycling enveloppe of 35 on the matrix (LFO Assign 2). It gives a reverb like effect.
As Talahamut points out, it’s not a real reverb effect.

For sure it can! In that case, you’ll notice the sustain cuts off as you play more notes and voices get replaced, as opposed to a real reverb effect where the reverb tail would continue.
