I’ve been trying to midi map some pigments controls to an akai midimix with no luck. I press Learn and then the button within pigments and then twist the knob on the akai but nothing registers.
The akai works because its currently plugged into Ableton and operating fine, including midi mapping.
Youtube shows choosing midi controllers within pigments but as far as I can see in 6 this option is no longer available…?
any help welcome.
Hi @sgable. Welcome to the community.
It can sound like you click the MIDI learn button in Ableton Live and not in Pigments right panel in the MIDI tab.
When you click Pigments MIDI learn button Pigments assignable controls get colored and ready to map.

BTW: It’s when you use Pigments in standalone mode outside a host, that you in the audio and midi settings can select your controller.
When used as a plugin in a host like Live, then just select the Generic controller setting in Pigments right panel in the MIDI tab.
