[Bug]? Touch sensitive knobs

Hello,

In Live 12, Arturia mode, when touching a knob, the parameter name does not appear on the screen, contrary to the faders.

Please note that:

  • touching knobs 1, 3 and 9 works as intended
  • in DAW mode, everything works properly
  • when using the Keylab with standalone instruments, it also works properly

So, it might be a bug.

Can someone confirm? Just launch a Mini V instance in Live, touch an encoder and check if it appears on the screen.

I just receive the keyboard, and I admit that the experience is a little frustrating if I add the midi output checkbox bug that isn’t fixed yet.

Thanks.

I noticed that, finally, this behaviour is random. Add an Arturia VSTi in Ableton Live 12, try to touch all the knobs. Some of them will show their name/value on the screen, others don’t.

But GENERALLY as soon as you turn the knobs, then the touching feature works every time.

There is an EXCEPTION with Analog Lab V, Acid V, Buchla Easel V (and probably some others, I didn’t test all of them): none of the 9 knobs works properly when touching them, even after turning them. Worse than that, also the touching feature won’t work with all the faders.

Hi again @creal ,

I don’t have the controller and can’t check.

If your controller are in Arturia mode, and you have checked the MIDI config settings like we have talked about in other topics, then i suggest you contact Arturia support through your account.

Hi LBH,

thanks for your reply.

Of course, the Keylab is selected and mapped in the MIDI settings. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be able to change the values of the parameters by turning the knobs or moving the faders.

I prefer asking the community if someone can confirm the problem before contacting directly the Arturia support.

I made a list of all the bugs I’m experiencing with my brand new Keylab mk3. I will send all them to the team, soon.

I’ve just sent a bug report to the Arturia’s technical support.
