LFO Sync Button is enabled and Retrigger Button is disabled:
The LFO syncs to the DAW host tempo which is working, but when the host DAW stops and plays the track again, then the start position of the LFO is not reset. This is actually bad because if 2 instances of JUP-8000V are used together (upper and lower patch) then it is not possible that the LFO values run “together” in parallel.
Funny thing is that the the Sync in the additional “FUNCTION” feature does properly reset when the track is stopped and played again (Retrig=None, Mode=Run), means here it works as expected.
Thanks for the reply.
I am using the VST3 version of JUP-8000V v1.0.0.6114 (arm64)
on a Mac Mini M2 Pro with Mac OS Sequoia v15.5
inside Cubase Pro 13.0.55
Ah, ok. There is little point me trying as you have verified this as a possible bug on different platforms. You would be best to log this as a technical support issue with Arturia.
Ticket created, let’s see what they say about it. More precise:
When the LFO Sync Button is enabled and Retrigger Button is disabled:
The LFO only adapts the DAW host tempo but not to the song position. This is actually bad because if 2 instances of JUP-8000V are used together (upper and lower patch) then it is not possible that the LFO values run “together” in parallel which is required by lot of performance patches.
Funny thing is that the the Sync in the additional “FUNCTION” feature does properly sync to the song position (Retrig=None, Mode=Run), means here it works as expected.
Would be good if that gets fixed!
(Note: Solution cannot be to use the FUNCTION feature for LFO1 because this is missing the Fade Option)
