[Bug] Analog Lab 5.11.0.5539 Not Recalling Midi Control Config

I have a Keylab 49 mkII, so naturally I like to have my default controller layout set to the Keylab mkII definition. Without setting that up the default onscreen controls won’t respond to any of the controller movements.

This all makes sense.

Except for the fact that Analog Lab isn’t recalling the Midi Config at all. Not when I create new instance, not when I Save it as an Opening Preset and not when I reopen the project, which is a little alarming to be honest.

I’m up to date with everything, I’ve even tested it after deleting the plugin cache, restarting the project, creating a new instance and new opening preset.

Hi @simon.a.billington.

I can’t follow you - i think.

What have this to do with Analog Labs MIDI configs?

Are your controller in Analog Lab mode?

Have you selected your Keylab controller as MIDI controller in Analog Labs right panel? Is it selected, when Analog Lab load? See attached image.

Yes, I select it there, but it doesn’t recall, even if I save it as part of an Analog Lab preset. It will ALWAYS default to the “Generic 9 Knobs” setting no matter what I do.

Despite setting it to “KeyLab mkII”, if I create new instance it defaults to “Generic 9 Knobs”. If I recall a project every instance reverts to “Generic 9 Knobs”. If I restart the computer or reinstall Arturia Lab and reselect the “KeyLab mkII”, it once again reverts to “Generic 9 Knobs”.

It just does not retain the setting at all.

I will add that I do have Arturia’s Library stored on an external drive, but that shouldn’t be a limitation.

Yes. Please contact Arturia support through your account.

Thanks man. I did just that.
