Big problems with Keylab 61 MK2 after firmware update

I loaded mcc up earlier, and a message came up saying there was a fw update for my kl 61 mk2. I went ahead (stupidly?) and let it update. Since then I’ve been having big problems with it and AL Pro. I have several presets with it controlling part 2, on midi channel 2. Now it doesn’t trigger any notes unless its on the global midi channel, the same as my kl mk3. So, for instance, it won’t trigger any notes as the lower part of a B-3 preset. MCC shows that it is sending midi data on whatever channel its set to. I know that this sounds like a software issue, rather than a hardware issue, but that it started happening immediately sfter the update, seems just too much of a coincidence.

I have just checked the fw available for the mk2, and there is only one version available, which is what my kl is on now. Should I download and install the version from the Arturia site, incase the one that was installed earlier is corrupted?

HI @Mikey1964

I think probably the best thing to do would be to log in to your account to contact The Arturia support team and they might be able to help you to roll back to the previous firmware.

HTH!

In addition.

FYI:
If you click “Show Archives” for the firmware on the download page, then you will get access to older firmwares.

The newest Keylab MK2 firmware is 3 years old it look like.
Please read the Release notes/ Info for the firmware to check if there is something that might interfere with your setup.

Setting parts to different midi channels is something that should work. But perhaps the global midi channel is’nt set to ALL?
